Baylor College of Medicine Launches Free Therapy Program for Autistic Teens in Texas
Baylor College of Medicine has announced a new research study offering free online cognitive behavioral therapy to autistic children aged 10 to 17 who suffer from anxiety or depression. This pioneering study provides participants with 12 sessions of weekly therapy specifically tailored for autism, along with up to four assessments. Families participating in the study will be compensated up to $400.
The therapy program is fully approved by the Baylor College of Medicine Institutional Review Board. Families residing in Texas who are interested in the study can find more information, including the IRB number, on the official study website.
Coral from Baylor College of Medicine emphasized the importance of community support in spreading the word: “We want to share this resource with families who live in Texas and who might be interested in participating in our study. We would greatly appreciate it if community members could help us by sharing our flyer with families that could benefit from this study.”
